Associate
A native of Rome, Georgia, Sydney attended the University of Georgia where she received her degree in Public Relations, with minors in both Spanish and Sports Management.
She earned her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During her time at Ole Miss Law, Sydney served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi Sports Law Review, a Senator of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council, and practiced in the Transactional Law Clinic.
While in law school, Sydney interned with two general practice firms in Rome, Georgia, as well as the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.
Attorney
Prior to becoming an attorney, Jennifer worked as a legal assistant/paralegal for over 20 years. She is experienced in handling cases involving catastrophic personal injury, trucking law, medical malpractice, wrongful death, dram shop liability, family law, probate, estates, workers’ compensation, and employment matters. She has worked on cases representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
Jennifer graduated top ten in her class from Moody High School and attended Southern Union Community College on a basketball scholarship.
She completed undergraduate studies and received an ABA paralegal certification at Samford University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law, graduating with honors.
While attending law school, she was in the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society, where she served as Service Arbiter, and was on the AAJ Mock Trial Team. She was also a recipient of the Alabama Circuit Judges’ Scholarship.
