Protecting Your Family, Your Future, and What Matters Most.

We'll fight to get you out of this victoriously.

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

— Micah 6:8 (NIV)

Recently, our firm helped a client navigate one of the most difficult chapters of her life. After 36 years of marriage, she found herself facing divorce with no income, language barriers that limited her employment options, and a husband who controlled the family's substantial assets...including a pension, multiple rental properties, and six-figure retirement accounts.

She didn't know where to turn. She worried she'd lose everything she'd spent decades helping to build.

We chose to fight. After extensive litigation and a two-day trial, the court awarded her sole ownership of the marital home, three rental properties, half of her husband's pension, a portion of his retirement accounts, her personal savings, monthly alimony, and the restoration of her former name. The judge specifically noted her financial vulnerability and the credibility issues undermining her husband's claims.

When all was said and done, she walked away with her dignity intact and the foundation she needed to build a new future…and that's what draws me to this work.

You're not here because you enjoy browsing the internet. You're here because something in your family is changing...and it's left you with more questions than answers.

Perhaps you're considering divorce but don't know how it will affect your children or finances. Maybe you're fighting for custody and worried about what's best for your kids. Or maybe your co-parent isn't following the court order, and you don't know what options you have. Whatever the situation, you need guidance—and you need it soon.

No matter what your questions are, no matter what you're feeling, I understand that family law cases aren't just legal matters. They're deeply personal. They affect the people you love most.

But an internet article…even one of ours…is simply not enough. You'll need to go deeper. That's why we offer a confidential family law consultation to anyone facing these difficult decisions. We're not interested in adding to your stress: We're interested in helping you find the best path forward for you and your family.

During your consultation with me, I'll listen to your story, and take the time to understand your goals. I'll explain how Alabama law applies to your specific situation and discuss your options…whether that means negotiation, mediation, or litigation. And I'll give you an honest assessment of what to expect, including realistic timelines and potential challenges.

Myself and our experienced family law attorneys here at Baxley Maniscalco handle a wide range of matters: divorce (including high-asset and contested cases), child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, property division, modifications, and enforcement of existing orders. If your family is going through a transition, there's a good chance we can help.

So, if you're ready to take the first step…to understand your rights and options with a team who genuinely cares about your family's future…feel free to get in touch. There's no commitment on your end, and no obligation to hire us.

We don't promise specific outcomes. We don't guarantee results. To do so would be unethical and irresponsible. But what we can do is, when the dust settles…at the very least…help you move forward with confidence, knowing you've done everything in your power to protect yourself and your family.
